Haarlem, The Netherlands – 27 September 2010 – Today the first entry in the developer diary of Adam’s Venture II: Solomon’s Secret written by developer Vertigo Games is published, which marks the kick-off of a monthly event in which a particular aspect of the developing process behind this second episode of the PC and console action adventure game series Adam’s Venture is taken and discussed.Today’s diary insert is written by the team’s music composer Jonathan vd Wijngaarden, who will explain in detail what adventure gamers should expect of the soundtrack of Adam’s Venture II, and the creative process that is its foundation. An interesting quote taken from this very first diary insert is: “Immediately I knew it would not be possible to approach this score the same way as was done for the first game, for two reasons; first of all, the game was a lot bigger and secondly, it dealt with many more different settings and locations.” Adventure fans will be delighted to learn that the developer diary will be hosted at Gameboomers.com, one of the Internet’s premier adventure gaming websites. Adam’s Venture II developer diary can be found here. Iceberg Interactive plans the release of Adam’s Venture II: Solomon’s Secret in major territories in Europe, including the UK, France and Benelux, in Q1-2011. About Adam’s Venture: Solomon’s Secret In this second installment of the episodic series, Adam Venture and his crew end up in 1920’s Jerusalem after having escaped alive from the Caverns of Eden. On their continuous search for the Lost Garden of Eden, they become entangled in a thickening plot featuring a ruthless dig for the ancient King Solomon’s treasure - but is that really all there is to it? Not all is as it seems… Adam Venture is a new action explorer hero; adventurous but using his wits rather than resorting to violence. Brought to life from a third person perspective with the Unreal 3™ engine, adventure gamers are in for a real visual treat in combination with family values storytelling.
