Haarlem, The Netherlands – 6 October 2010 – In anticipation of its retail release on Friday October 8th 2010, publisher Iceberg Interactive and game developer Gaijin Entertainment today announce that the boxed version of „Wings of Luftwaffe‟, has been shipped to retail stores across the UK, Scandinavia and several other European territories. Wings of Luftwaffe is the official add-on for the acclaimed PC WWII combat flight simulator „Wings of Prey‟. German and French localized versions are planned for release later in October and November this year respectively.Wings of Luftwaffe lets players experience first-hand some of the most famous battles over Britain, Sicily, the USSR, Belgium and Germany, where this time they will be taking the role of a German pilot, facing the war from the enemy‟s point of view, trying out some of the most superior fighters of the time as they go. This official expansion pack for Wings of Prey features 10 single missions with support for up to four players in co-op mode. Furthermore, two new planes are introduced: the Ju 88 A-4 and the P-39N-0, as well as over 40 skins for the various planes. Players will need Wings of Prey to run Wings of Luftwaffe. About Wings of Luftwaffe In Wings of Luftwaffe, the player takes the role of a German pilot and participates in explosive battles over Britain, Sicily, the USSR, Belgium and Germany. From blocking airdromes, to attacking aircraft, to destroying ground targets, the player will fight with honour and bravery for the glory of Germany. These new missions allow virtual pilots to see the war from the enemy‟s point of view and try out some of the most advanced fighters of the era.
