Craft of Gods is Gold, Announces New RVR Area

Haarlem, The Netherlands – 21 October 2010 – MMORPG Craft of Gods (www.craftofgods.eu) has gone gold and entered the manufacturing process. The game will be distributed to retail outlets across the Benelux and Scandinavia by premier PC videogames publisher Iceberg Interactive on 5 November 2010. The game’s leading Italian online game developer and publisher Kalicanthus Entertainment also announce their plans for a new RVR area, which will be available for free through an automatic update for all players.

About the new RVR area

The new map features three strongholds: one dedicated to the faction of Light, one to the faction of Darkness and one neutral. Here the forces of Light and Darkness will clash every day for the sole purpose of claiming a special relic; members of the faction possessing this relic will be granted access into the last part of the recently announced dungeon ‘The Caves of Tallion’, where they will face new powerful bosses that will drop exceptionally valuable items.

To take possession of this extraordinary relic, both factions must try and penetrate the neutral into the neutral fortress where it is hidden and bring it back to their own castle. After a faction has succeeded in capturing the relic the game is not over yet, as the opposite faction will try to retrieve it by entering the enemy fortress. When they succeed in finding the relic, it will automatically be ported back inside the neutral castle.

About Craft of Gods

Created by Russian developer studio Cyberdemons, Craft of Gods is a new 3D fantasy MMORPG based on Slavic mythology. Craft of Gods is the ‘MMORPG of free choices’: you are free to choose how to build your character with its unique class-free system, how you want to play and even if you want to pay or not.

Craft of Gods provides a unique experience for both Player vs. Environment (PvE) lovers and Player vs Player (PvP) oriented gamers and features an addictive end-game based on a great Realm vs Realm (RvR) system: prove to be the strongest guild and you can gain unique gods’ abilities by becoming a Demigod!

Players can choose between 6 different races divided into 3 factions (Light, Darkness and Neutral, this last one will be introduced with an expansion in the near future) and create their character that can then be completely customized; in facts there are no classes in Craft of Gods, only skills: each player can choose from 14 schools of skills, each containing 15 powers – for a total of 210 different skills that assure a great depth of customization.

Craft of Gods is the only MMORPG that lets the player choose between a pay-to-play (P2P) server and a free-to-play (F2P) server. In order to play on the P2P server you’ll have to pay a monthly subscription fee of € 8,90. If you do not want to pay a monthly subscription, you can choose the F2P server: you can play for free, aside from some small limitations the game is the same as on the P2P server and you’ll receive an amount of premium money (called Kun) worth € 50, that you can spend in the in-game item shop.
