Haarlem, The Netherlands –19 September 2011 – Videogame publisher Iceberg Interactive announces that they have released a free content update for Armada 2526 Supernova, the not-to-be-missed add-on to the turn-based space RTS Armada 2526 from game developer Ntronium Games.
Iceberg Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder says: “Armada 2526 has been a wonderful addition to our strategy catalogue and is still enjoying strong sales in Europe. Combined with Supernova this really is a deep and addictive game that keeps you busy for countless quiet evenings. The replay value is huge. With this free content update for Supernova, with amongst others 3 new races to battle it out with, we are rewarding our many loyal galaxy conquerors out there.”
Supernova is the first expansion for Armada 2526 and gives you more to explore, more to exploit, two new races to exterminate, and lets you challenge your friends over a local area network, or by email. The exploration side of the game has been greatly enhanced with new types of stars and planets, and a wide variety of special characteristics that a system may possess. There’s a new trade system that lets you build up a trading network, a system for espionage and special operations, many new technologies to research, and lots of new units types. Armada 2526 Supernova features:
Its mission is to develop deep involving strategy/wargames for that discerning group of gamers who love them as much as we do. While everyone likes their work to be popular, Ntronium is definitely founded on the principle that it is better that some people love something, than that everyone merely likes it! We'll be targeting the discerning minority of hardcore strategy fans, rather than the mass market.
